THE ASK:

As a warm welcome to the Vancouver market, Lyft hosted a launch party like no other and hit the ground running building excitant for the long awaited arrival for ride-sharing to the city! RS Creative was commissioned to create two shop-stopping large scale art installations - one to great guests upon arrival, the other to represent the Lyft logo in a unique way.

THE SOLVE:

Umbrella Archway - As guests made their way into the party via a hot pink carpeted hallway, they were greeted with a high impact custom arch acting as the entrance to the venue. An idea that originally came by reimagining ways to utilize the guest party favours; custom designed umbrellas. Made up of over 60 branded umbrellas layered upon one another a unique photo-op was created.

A logo reimagined - The large scale Lyft logo was created using individual strands of string woven in an intricate pattern. From there, over 150+ anchor points throughout the perimeter of the logo pulled towards the 14’ ceiling. An impactful and dramatic installation created a focal point in the venue.

The show must go on! This event took place during an epic two day snow storm that just wouldn't quit! Despite the elements, an amazing guest turnout arrived and guests were surprised by a performance by Tegan + Sara.
