THE ASK:
In 2017, lululemon and the LOVELOUD Foundation came together to host a one-of-a-kind concert series at the historic Vogue Theatre to kick off Vancouver's Pride weekend. Ryleah Shae Creative was contacted to create a visually impactful stage design that would complement a variety of performers, from solo artists to dancers, throughout the evening.
THE SOLVE:
An ordinary, old-school party supply was reimagined and used in a unique way to create a striking art backdrop. This handmade installation replicated a rainbow effect by arranging different paper honeycombs in a gradient design, forming an abstract and organic shape. As a finishing touch, large marquee letters spelling "LOVE" were positioned on the left side of the stage.
